Do you know how easily a f***ing 10 inch tire slides onto a set of mini lites or golf cart wheels,or the steel spare? Yokohomo or falkens both? Ive done them all with very very little effort whatsoever.As well as Jr. Dragster slicks which an 8 year old boy could manage or some dumb ass foreign f***

my new mantra :   I was once young and stupid......although i don't live in the east coast..lol

so on my way home today, i saw a dark green mini zip thru the byway at about 60mph, my windows were down so i heard the engine was so quiet, i believe it's a fuel injected mini, i didn't know a classic mini can run 60mph without a smoke.  i was amazed, i saw itcoming about quarter of  mile away , from a far right a way one can tell that it wasn't an ordinary car because of it's unique style and size.  i kinda love my mini more now.  
But in my observation, people tend to like or appreciate a running project mini,, people do not appreciate a too shiny and well kept mini, people love to see mini that has some rust here and there, primer, a little bondo, like my mini, that's why whenever my wife ask me when will i paint my mini, i always say, owning a mini is like having a child, you never stop taking care of it.  to me if my mini mini is well painted and shiny, people tend to see it as just any ordinary car in the street. ,, my mini will stay as a running project,  fix, upgrade and modify throughout the course of time that i own it.,, i can always put money to it and make it nice, and then what????

Im kinda pissed and i dont want to keep it to my self, so please i want to rant a little,  my mini seat post bolt has lost it's thread, so now its moving sideways whenever i turn, i realy dont know why issigonis even bolt it together instead of welding it permanently, i mean do you even need to remove the bolt? For what?  The only bolt that is needed is between the seat post and the seat NOT from seat post to the body. So, this weekend im going to weld them all to the flooring. I dont care.
The  seat holder has bolt while the radiator does not have a drain plug,, And there are three ashtrays inside a mini,  figure that out!!!  Was there already poppy seeds back in the days that people lost their ability to make better decisions? Jizzz


but the drain plug-less radiator is still the no.1 in the list.

i have spent hours and days looking for these honda brake system sold by Joltfreak for $500 and i can't find one on the internet, i really think they are scam..they wanted to be a dream catcher on being the first to modify a honda brake system to a mini, but they fail. all just lip service...

garage time!! After weeks of working, now i have my wee time with my mini, continuing my project tonight,  i use whatever things i have in my backyard, i dont put too much money on it, so if i part with it,it wont hurt that much. Doing sone grinding and welding till midnight tonight!!   But first i need to take my 5 hour energy drink.... And i need to hurry because before 5 hours is over ill be weak again....

johnie, Why don't you just hire some people there in UK to disassemble the race car and ship them to US as parts?? it may take few boxes of parts but it can get in legally, and just assemble them here. i have shipped 2 hayabusa to my country several years ago, i disassemble them and ship the boxes several days apart. the customs cannot slap you with enormous amount of tax because it is not categorized as driveable vehicle, they are parts only, they are free to open the box and inspect,they won't see any car inside. again, money is not the issue here, it's their LAWS that were too strict.,, i find it so inhumane when the car is already in the US and they(customs) will decline it and tells you to ship it back...this ruins my day,

Beanie, before you shell out enormous amount of money on that little half mini, have a self assesment, if you really really want it, what use does it have for you, compared to the headache of importing this  nice car,  although TTW is willing to help you innvolving dearly amount of money, still ,, if you are to look for a beat up mini here in the US and have some legitimate people to slice the mini for you and copy the one you want, it can be done easily.  BUT if money is not an issue , go ahead.

In connection to MLM's problem.:   I dont exhaust thinking why and how a tach can even affect the performance of an engine(????)   And also a mis-wired coil will NOT allow a car to run not only at high rpm(4k) but also at low rpm.   I dunno what pink wire he's talking about(???).  
And also a mis-wired tacho will make a car run bad at high rpm??? Reallly????

...so i went to see a movie yesterday, and i saw this guy, makes me smile and almost laugh, he gets inside his Classic car and he closes the door using his two hands...i was laughing,,, WHY all classic cars need two hands to close from the inside., one hand to pull and the other hand to tilt the door up because it has drooped due to rusted hinges..i remember a friend who used to open his car from the inside using the outside door opener. ...

Im at starbux,, funny there's a father and daughter looking at my mini and arguing, the daughter keeps on asking what car is it and even the dad doesnt know what It is, and the daughter said i want one dad!!  The dad is about 60yo...i dont want to talk to them tho because they won't understand my horrible accent anyway.. 
Classic mini is nice to look at but owning one entails a lot of dedication, love and tlc if you want it to run excellent. Otherwise it will leave you stranded in the middle or side of the road if you take it 4granted. 
And now, as i write this, there's this dad and two sons looking inside the mini.  Hasay, Youngsters nowadays dont have  any idea what car is this, where can they find a car like our mini which drives 110mph downhill with a storm behind you and  drives 5mph going uphill with the gas pedal squeezed down to the floor...?? Only our minis !! And im proud of it... Love my mini to death!

but up to now i keep on thinking day and night HOW can " someone" drive his stock 850cc mini 75mph in the highway???  Is this another political bluff??  Aaanyway...
