I told him more or less the same thing Bill except i said it would bring good money for a concourse 997 Cooper build in the UK.

If in doubt, flat out. Colin Mc Rae MBE 1968-2007.

MK 1 bitz just received from the UK

I sourced them thru "Nick in Sheffield " great service, good prices but UPS grabbed me for unwarranted duty of $93.00, even with the Custom code on the package

I did get a battery box from our host but found that MK 1 parts from them was more difficult

Going with wing mirrors even tho they were never factory stock

All new parts to installed this week end then back into storage until the sun comes out

Sorry, probably the wrong word. I meant you got the first parts that committed that car to being a scrapper. Let me know what you need. Enjoy the holidays!

Red and ready and as it is a 60's Estate it is California friendly.

James;

Yes, l remember, think it was red also, it ended up coming off a trailer behind a motor home @ speed-

It was listed for sale 3 months ago, front end pretty well ripped off, but looked good from the rear, not quite a "Will buff out" fix

Yes, Captin J J gone 9 years now. R I P

Gorgeous mini, good luck and enjoy.

O K, mini woody estate is now out of the detailer shop, beautiful job, my guy is throwing in the towel after 20 years of detailing, bummer, he is the best-

Just to assure you the Canadian Beavers did not eat the wood trim, here are some pics-

And yes, the 997cc cooper engine is running great, did l tell you, we have no snow yet ? Had it out for a drive on Friday, great power and smooth shifting- The wooden dash is not stock but looks good in there-

In the rear shot (doors open) you can see the internal petrol tank on the left side-Should be covered in matching leather (vinyl). a job for the spring-

Will be taking off the J A Pierce alloys and going back to the steel wheels, poverty hub caps also The wood kit is 56 years old, hard to believe it, especially in the great condition its in-

My other woody estate acquisition is still in the works, just delayed by paper work-

He included delivery to Vacouver. Looks like $1800 to Uk and some sort of container fee this end of £400. the car was a good deal though so hopefully pays off. Lots of seriously nice stuff in Canada

Agreed, one BIG honking place

My estate came from Edmonton to Calgary by truck and then to Toronto by CP Rail

$1280.00 all in, not bad-
