Al. just bought a Mustang in Alberta. Before we agreed on price I asked how far it was from the port (Vancouver) he said thirteen hours!

I offered a buy price including delivery!

BLack plastic twin cup holders bolted to the dash, his and hers if you will

Everything else appears bone stock except for the 997cc engine

Ron:

"Cornering the market", not likely with my limited resources-

I have watched Moke prices go thru the. Roof and it looks like Woody prices are starting to take off

As Mike said, l used to be the Clubman King and have always said "the clubman estate" was the best value of any mini model or variant-price wise and the cargo space being the big factor.now that l see two clubman estates on Mini Mania, Cars for Sale asking $15k US, l think my vision is coming true-

But woodies are another story, Morris Minor woodies used the wood for structural purposes whereas the mini estate used the wood trim for estetic appearance only-wood kits for mini estates are now available for around $800.00 as the GB pound dives-but a bugger to install (ask me how l know) My last clubman estate was sold to a professor in Ohio, he bought it sight unseen only because it had sliding windows in the rear, he had two large German Sheppards and needed the wagon to haul them around in comfort- I am a purist in most instances when it comes to minis ( no v-techs etc) but my new woody acquisition with its' 997 cc engine and twin SU set up was just too much to pass up-

Next week, my next woody should arrive, a 1965 Morris traveller, 998cc also with great wood and a super interior- Notice that all these minis are USA legal and even Californian fully legal as well (Hugh were are you) ?

And yes Tagus , go for it, one always likes a woody LOL

Al,

I saw that Woody you bought from Edmonton and thought it was a good looker
- congrats. I'm wondering what your new obsession with Woodies is all
about? I have 3 of them here in BC and know of at least two more that could
be available. Are you cornering the market? Do you have insider
information? Should I try and grab these one's also?

Ron in BC (Tagus)

I agree, l do like clubman estates but they are about as rare to find these days as Mokes

There is a nice clubman estate on Cars for sale MM section @ $15k, but a little rich for me

I hope to add another woody to my collection next week as l am actively looking for estate woody wagons

And guys enough with the "Beaver" jokes, there could be minors on the board
