Thanks for writing.   the motor is fine   .  it runs but sounds like the roof is jammed up .  won't go back or forth  the motor strains.   not touching it now.  its stuck in just about closed position so at least i can drive in the rain. 

the roof is slightly lagging on one side.     T Y     

Give us more details of the problem... when you turn it on, do you hear anything? if you hear the motor running and it doesnt move, it must be the gears, if you hear nothing,then it's either blown fuse or bad connections somewhere, or fried motor.

do this, turn the sunroof switch on, then start wiggling the wires that's connected to it, and see if it will move, this will rule out bad wiring connections./ locate the fues (if there is) see if it's blown,replace if so. if you are mechanically inclined you can open the sunroof assembly and inspect the gears on both railings and also the one attached to the motor, if the gears are eaten, replace them.

Again, these are examples of generic problems. no amount of Haynes manual can solve it. Common sense is still the best tool there is.

Hello all/     i have a Rover Classic mini 40  twin point  with an Electric sunroof which has jammed up and not working

i need help, advice  possibly parts, etc to fix.  Its called a Hollandia  400 roof I believe.   webasto co. makes them but their dimensions are incorrect .

any ideas appreciated
