I was offered a really nice pickup in Texas. I'll follow up. Feel free to contact me offline.

Hi guys, I received an email from Jorge. He is doing amazing things with the car. Much respect to him. The wheels were 3 piece Spectrums. The car is a 67' Cooper S. it was deseemed and no expense was spared with the build....I would gladly buy it back but Jorge looks like he's enjoying it and actually tracking it a lot...

I had a Lotus Elise when I sold this mini but grew tired of the Elise so stepped into a Audi R8 V10....yes....it satisfies the void..:)

I am in the market for a mini pickup but want one completely done and would even prefer a vtec one but a complete one...no more projects...

If anyone has a lead please let me know...

Thx

Travis 10 Incher

This car looks different and unique, i like it.  minis all looks the same  but if you make some touch of unique-ness to it that's when the resale value goes up.  I really like the de-seam'd body,  my first time to realize that the seam makes the mini ugly, might as well take it out and grind it. I have never seen any video in youtube on how to deseam a mini. I believe the use acetylene torch to weld it together, mig and tig are to strong for the sheet metal.  The built in wheel arches is awsome too.
But its my first time to see an older mini with outside hinges but why are the tailights rectangular?? Its supposed to be oval right? Looks like there's some mix matching happened to that car.
But whoever designed this nice red mini did a really great job. No wonder 10incher is trying to buy it back.
Awsome car!!

Travis:  It is owned by Jorge Montesi in Vancouver and is an active vintage race car.  He should be going to the Can Am Mini Challenge at Sears Point (Infinion) next year if you were interested to see it run.  I've sent him an email so he should contact you.

Merry Christmas
Dennis

Hello Travis, Good to see you on here again.

I think you sold me the slider glass for my mini I finally got it done.
Are you looking to try and buy your mini back? Or get another one?

Hello MiniMania world…Its been years since my last post…I was kind of shocked my user name and password still worked. I see several members still here so hello to you all…. My post on this fine Christmas eve is mainly to see if anyone knows the chap I sold my mini to He lived in Canada). I lost all of my old contacts a few years ago so I have no record of who he was… The Mini was my last one of 5 that I was lucky enough to own over the last 17 years…Please speak up if anyone knows anything….It was the Red 67' Cooper S Racer with white roof (street legal). It did have the number 37 on both doors and the hood but I removed them before it sold…Car was right hand drive.

Hope everyone here is doing well.

Travis - My email shown on my profile is very old and no access…(won't let me change it) If anyone has info please comment here or best way is [email protected]
