mini mover.. quite right about the bottom lip on the pontoons..  the chinese added about 100 lbs to make more rigid..  btw. just offered  today  22 choke shells. with NO engine and tranny for $5600 USD each.. anyone seen the choke golf carts in LA yet? their website is www.acgcars.com .. later bc

You can tell a Chinese Moke (choke) by the band that runs along the bottom of the pontoons on both sides, it sits out about an inch and a half,probably added for strength (rigidity)

I built both. btw  DMV makes the decision on the year here on CKDS kits ,replicas and customs. it is quite a quagmire of different rules and requirement in each state on these.. take a look at the new morgans at www.morganswest.net in LA and then the land rovers 110 in florida.. at ebay @15235399.4689  and the cobra and super 7s also done this way..in most states  later bc ps. I have NOT bought figaro yet.. they seem to have even more RUST than minis ( if that is possible) and major head gasket problems..

Two Mokes on ebay

both are listed as 1967 but the first one appears to be a Chery Moike.. not sure about the second one but it also looks like a Chery Moke.. 2nd appears to have a 1967 engine but other item, including mirrors, wheels, seats, etc do not seem proper year
