I think it is a great deal you are basically getting the manifold for free. My thoughts are most folks with a 998 and a HS4 are either happy with it or want a 1275 and as soon as they get a 1275 they want a HIF 44 (thinking more fuel and air will work wonders) so unless someone has a crap HIF38 or wants to upgrade to one there is a limited market for the 38 imo.

Now that "specialist" has done his usual act and wasted 5 days along with tainting your thread going back and forth you may as well re advertise it.
A guy that won't even cough up $4 for a window crank is not a buyer for anything here imo.

thanks for the info sir Dan, i am just worried that if i replace my exhaust with a bigger bore it might compromise the "back pressure" which is very very important factor to maintain a good engine running condition. up to now i cannot think of a reason WHY a separate manifold and exhaust is better than the siamese cast iron where in the only thing that differs is that, on the siamese, the manifold and exhaust are together. what good did it give when manifold and exhaust were separated???? ????????????????????

someone might say oh there will be two downpipes instead of one, well, are the two downpipes goes to the back end as two??? no!!!, halfway under the car, that two downpipes will be infused to one tube...

the only way i'll be convinced is when that two downpipes will have their own mufflers EACH and goes out to the back as two pipes..NOT ONE!!

The answer is "NO".  It is an INTAKE manifold only.
The picture you posted of your exhaust is of the stock downpipe which connects to a standard siamesed cast iron intake/exhaust manifold.

To use Miniman's manifold, you will have to get an exhaust header or cut up your current cast iron manifold. If you get a header, you will probably end up replacing your exhaust system front to back - the exhaust header would theoretically improve performance, but only if you connect it to an exhaust system of the matching diameter.

Yes I accept paypal. And will post it to your paypal linked address

[email protected]. Now don't forget that's $200 plus postage of $20 so I expect a total of $220 and I'll take care of the paypal fees

Minimans, could you ask him to clarify, him or you ?

If you are able to ever get an email from him (which you won't), payment is another thing.

As for a shipping address, I have it.

My email is in my profile.

Rather doubt he wants it published here.

Oh I can go very very low Tony, you have no idea. But the price on the Carb is fixed If you can tell me where to buy a new HIF38 with a new mini spares manifold for less that $200 I would suggest you buy it. I did say the carb was new do you think I filled it with used parts?
Since I have no clue as to what you have on your car regards carb and manifold I do not know if you can use your old exhaust. post a clear picture of what you have on there and I can tell you.
