Regardless of what colour the roof is painted the inside of the roof will be coated with Lizard Skin.
They claim a 30 degree reduction from outside surface temperature on the inside.
But black roof in Arizona Bill, it may LOOK cool,  but that's as far as cool goes.

I do dig the black roof, just not sure how the sun factor on a black roof in Arizona will be.

I've always heard Fiesta Yellow was significantly less popular than all the other colors - including Smoke Grey.  No?

I'm already struggling with the factory color of Smoke Grey. Some people love it, I wish I was one of them, but I'm not.

Smoke Grey with an Old English White (OEW) roof might be a little too muted for my taste.
The good news is that smoke grey was the rarest colour for the Cooper S... so you'll stand out in the crowd..

The bad news is that this is so because no one wanted the buy one .. so BMC got the hint..eventually

The second rarest colour was Fiesta Yellow.... I had one of those too....

cheers, Ian

Very interesting. I'll give it more thought.

Thanks

I have a '71 ex-Liverpool Police Cooper 'S'. The MCR Police Registrar David Davies informed me that MK 3s were painted Glacier White, code NMA BVLC 59. He also replied that MK 1s and 2s were BMC WT2. Randy

Looking for the paint code for Police white.

Only finding OEW and snowberry.

Also, does anyone know if glacier white is brighter than Police white ?

Thanks, SxS
