What stands out in my mind about shipping you that engine was the quick delivery to you

It was picked up here (Ontario) by noon on Monday and was sitting in Prince Albert SK by Wednesday-

Nope...that was a 1275 Al from an AA

I sent you a chrome roof rack about 8yrs ago.  Mounted it on wood slats and sent via bus

As memory serves me, l purchased this estate wagon from Paulo Aquiar in Uxbridge,Ontario It was in a small garage in a bush (forest) on his father-in-laws property, very scenic- Because of the snow we had to wait till spring to move the mini, it did not have a petrol fuel cap and the petrol was full of water plus when l did source a new proper cap it fit so close to the wooden trim that it was almost impossible to screw on- The roof rack is so unique l am 99% sure this is the same car- BTW, Paulo whom many of you will remember from this forum a few years back is in a real fight with the BIG C, Prayers and the best Paulo from all your friends here

VIN number or not, it's an eywateringly large amount of money for something that doesn't appear to that special...

I don't think that is the vin Bill more like a stock number GCCATL213 Maybe Gateway Classic cars Atlanta then stock number 213.

One would be tempted to say there are too many flutes on that estate! But really the early internal tank models were fluten free!

Can't complain about values holding (so long as not empty bags).

There are 3 Austin Mini Countryman 'Woodies' in restoration here in British Columbia today alone...that I know about...and I just sold a pair of Heritage 4 flute outer sills to another B.C. chap who has a '62 Woody build to come.

We could flood the market from B.C....

All kidding aside, my '61 Woody build is getting the best of everything I have as it will be a keeper.  Will also be a Modified Collector Car in B.C. with bigger than 848cc motor (and some other components).

Can't be sure but l bet this mini had a Tennessee title in its' History

Looking at the luggage / roof rack it looks very close to a white 1961 Austin Countryman l sold to a buyer in TN a few years back

It shipped out of Buffalo NY and have never heard of it since

BTW, l sold it for $10k US, but maybe that internal tank adds $35k to it's value
