My mistake Paul, the 38 carb you had advertised before i thought looked cleaner so i assumed this was a pic of the 44 you sold. Maybe its just the old mind playing tricks on me

The carb shown in the current advert is indeed a HIF38 it was brand new when it was purchased from Burlen. It was fitted to a mildly tuned 1275  I built and worked very well for a street motor. But the client decided he wanted a Weber so it was removed and shoved under the bench. Where it's been for at least 10 years. So tony to answer your question yes it was tested on a car it was new now it's not. But ask yourself if I'd bought it 10 years ago and never fitted it is it still brand new now? After all it 10 years old...............
and it's still for sale to anybody EXCEPT Tony

Sooooo !!!!! All i said is the carb in the picture is a HIF 44. Paul must have put the wrong picture up you have seen the new carb pic when you tried to low ball him and ship to different addresses and people before, i am sure it's the same carb but i doubt he will deal with you now after the last 5 day train wreck waste of time fiasco.

That is a HIF 44 in the picture not the HIF 38 he has for sale.
