When I go to cycling events I see a ton of them.
Mini doesn't even make the actual rack, Thule produces it.
All Mini needed to do was leave both tow hook holes, not eliminate one.
I don't like transporting my bikes on the roof, who does...

I was planning to trade my 2013 Countryman in for a new 2017 Countryman.
Unfortunately it seems that for some stupid reason Mini has decided to eliminate the possibility of mounting the made for mini bike rack on the car (I own the rack). One of the tow hook holes has been eliminated from the rear bumper.
I love the way my bikes go on the back of my 2013 Countryman, nice and solid easy to put them on. I hate roof bike racks, don't you?
This is a ridiculous decision by mini. People that purchase Countryman's tend to be active outdoor people.
My enthusiasm to purchase a New 2017 Countryman has been ruined. What a shame.
