Good point. There may be a conversion factor that can be applied for variants. I'll check the regs.

Nah. it is a question of the number of "people". Our church accessibility lift (small elevator) has a posted limit of 2 persons and one wheelchair. It also must be operated buy a trained attendant. People are disappointed ( some get cranky) when we have to explain the attendant is a person, so only one passenger at a time.

On the other hand, it specifies "clowns" and makes no mention of "non-clowns". See 'em in court!

Is it a question of mass or how funny it is? It's possible that 15 little people, dressed as clowns would be more funny, and therefore their maximum number would go down, but if it's a mass question, the number would go up. Perhaps it's just an average to cover both situations. Ah California, we may never really know, I would like the see the math behind this, so it could be applied to a clubman, moke or pickup.

What about midget clowns.  (Oh sorry vertically challenged)  Lady clowns probably take up less space than male clowns.  What about clowns that are changing their name to Caitelyn.  Still an ugly clown.....
