I took a look and it is not in the book. I believe ZIP took his to a copy place and had them run this copy off for me. I will look into that option. Steve (CTR)

I was thinking that for the splash shield? But I think that has a pair of square holes for the clips?

I dont think it's a battery hold down clamp, unless you want to drill 2 holes on the battery. My ultimate guess is a license plate holder or a rear view mirror clamp. or a mount that holds the heater blower  in place

Not factory but maybe a battery hold down clamp.

If in doubt, flat out. Colin Mc Rae MBE 1968-2007.

... an accessory bracket to fit above or under the Moke instrument panel, possibly to hold accessory switches for lights, heater fan etc.
... A support bracket to hold a car radio, old style, which were mounted by the 2 knob shafts in the front and a strap bracket in the back. Explains the 2 large holes on the 2 tabs. The 4 slotted holes are for bolts to mount to some part of the Moke dash.

It's a mounting bracket for a flux capacitor. It's unrecognizable because some idiot painted it. It's supposed to be stainless steel.

Coopertune/Zip (wherever you are)

Knowing U K Mokes as well as l do, l would suggest the list has 6 items on it

Very spartan and basic transportation at best

Keep in mind they originally came with only one wind screen wiper and one seat

OK - that could be interesting!  And, while you're at it, could you send me a copy of that factory break down of UK Moke parts?  I don't think I have one of those.........thanks!

That thing is use to hold fog lights in front of the mini, that alone can hold two medium sized yellow fog lights , instead of bolting the foglight housing directly to the bumper like some people do, it will look sloppy tho,,  that bracket is bolted to the subframe and concealed.

sorry guys, i like guessing game,, its my weakness. My double major imagination is running wild.

Looks like a 5/16 by 1 1/2 bolt with a sheet metal bracket on it.

My guess is that it belongs to a different car at the body shop that painted yours.

just my thoughts, I don't think much

it's a front license plate holder, i believe in southport NC where you currently reside, requires front and back license plate.

Found in box after assembling Moke. No idea what it is.

Anyone?  Anyone?  A reward for the correct answer may be available.
