Yup, she's still wonder woman hanging in the air.

I figured diff, but neither side is spinning. If one were to be a "default" would it be driver side? Passenger side (RH) barely made a quarter turn, while the driver side (LH) didnt move at all.

I was going to pull things apart but ill first give it a go on the ground. Thanks for the direction

Are you still on jack stands? It will only spin on one side while in the air due to the diff working. Put it on the ground and try again?

Mini's are like buses they come along in a bunch

Hi folks-

New to posting on the board, but an active reader the past few months since i purchased a '68 Cooper.

Just completed a 7.5" disc upgrade on the front, from the stock drums, all went well from what i could tell - though i was a bit skeptical on the bearing install but apparently all was done correctly from the videos and consulting others.

Well, when all done and brakes bled i felt more resistance than i would like rotating the disc flange.  Still, i felt the power of th engine would be used to this.  With the car still on jack stands i ran from neutral to first and accelerated lightly, to find that none of the shafts are spinning.

On the driver side, i noticed the driveshaft wasnt spinning in line with the other CV joint.  So possible problem.  But going further i noticed not even the U-Bolt coupling section was spinning at acceleration in first gear...

So, im very perplexed.  Tomorrow i plan to run the car without the disc flanges on, to determine if theres an issue with the bearing assembly from being over torqued.

Any insight is welcome.  It discouraging after a few weeks of patiently updating the discs - CV joints, brake lines, bearings, hub, etc..
