john, this post was started in 2017. I would suggest you start a new post instead of reviving this dinosoar.

Who are you talking to?

"WET COOPER", Partsguy1 (Terry Snell of Penticton BC ) - Could you send the money for the unpaid parts and court fees.

Hello,
I would be in need of your Mini 1000 gas tank.
Do you still have it and what would it cost me, shipped to Montreal?
Best regards.

I will give you a call at lunch assuming your phone number is the same as it was from 5 years ago.

Sorry to de-rail the thread. I'll check my tank when I get to it in June.

Sorry for the delay answering. Speedo face needs to be cream color 90 mph and Austin needle. I have two Morris speedos SN4410 (silver face with triangular plastic needle) but want to install Austin. The speedo apparently was changed early in its life and a Morris speedo installed.

All I could find was an early silver faced one but it's SN is 4410.

minimike1 i have a very nice tank out of my 1972 Austin mini 1000, it is a Canadian gas tank that would need the matching gas cap. it is the Canadian factory tank, very clean inside, i upgraded to a bigger tank i think i have the correct stainless gas cap too. i live in Iowa, let me know if you want pics

I have a LH tank with the bayonet mount sender. I can't get my hands on it until 1st week in June. I bought it then realized I needed the older style with screw mounted sender. I recal it being rust free but have to look again. I really need an early Austin speedometer (Smiths SN 4409)or the face plate and needle from an Austin to convert a Morris to Austin speedo.

I'll trade you a perfectly good LH tank for a like condition RH tank. ??

I'm putting my car back together that I started building from a bare shell about 25 years ago.
I've got a bunch of fuel tanks but as I sand blast, each one seems to be perforated.
Anyone have a spare tank that uses the metal twist ring style lock?
I"ve got a 25 year + collection of bits and would welcome a trade.
