I used to put castor oil from the chemists in the fuel to get the proper smell...

I believe R40 is still available, but you will need to got to a racing supplier - over here Demon Tweeks would be my go-to.

Is Castrol "R" available in the USA or something that smells like it? I used to use it in my two-strokes in England because I liked the smell. I'm getting a Lambretta LI 150 that I'd like to run it in. Thanks.
