New Video: A few practice laps before track day on Sunday. 3 GoPro camera angles make this one a little more interesting. Jim Hall's Racing Club has a neat, Mini-sized track only an hour from home. Everything else is 3+ hours away. Check out the earplugs hanging from under the dash. Low-tech G-meter!      [link]

New video: Is there anyone who doesn't think the Mini is one of the best handling cars ever? [link]

Nice, great road on Sun drive. I like the under car of the front end - me like the 4-pots. I assume vented too?

New video available: "Sunday Drive" [link]. I'm experimenting with different camera positions—this one features 4 different cam angles. The close-ups on the front suspension are kind of interesting... for about 5 seconds. I'm turning the steering wheel past 180 degrees on some of the turns, but the close-up shots make the turns look surprisingly mild. Kinda disappointing.

I've scheduled a legitimate track day at Willow Springs Raceway next month. I'm hoping the GoPro shots will be more dramatic than the ones I've taken thus far.

I've created a Facebook page where I'm posting the 100s of pictures and videos I've accumulated during the last 10 years. Most of these I've gathered from the internet, a few are originals. You may recognize some of the cars as yours, or perhaps your friend's.* Some of the videos you may have seen and some are quite rare. And some will be my own as I fiddle with different camera angles, positioning my GoPros underneath the car, on the quarter panels, etc. during track days and autocross events.

The best way to navigate through the page is to click on the list displayed on left-hand margin. The videos in particular take a long time for me to upload, so I'll try to post a couple of new ones each week till I reach the end of my playlist or until Facebook says "enough!" Let me know what you think and what you'd like to see by posting comments on the FB page. Enjoy!

*If for any reason you spot a pic of your car and wish for me to delete it from my page, I'll be happy to oblige.
