Yup, I was a formula vee guy for 15 years. In fact, when my '65 cooper s got in a fight with a bear I took the insurance check and bought my second vee.

No more vee racing so back into playing with Minis

With a broken cable I would pull the core out from the top end of the sheath.  I would leave the sheath itself attached to the gearbox just to keep dirt out until the new part arrives.

I have a new speedo cable on order......Do i need to leave the broken one attached to the gearbox or can i drive the car with it removed? I have an A+ 998 for reference
