Safest & most positive way to replace gauge is to remove the wood dash and remove faulty clock and replace with new.  Make sure the new gauge is working first or you will be doing it again. It is not that difficult.

What is the safest way to swap a dead analog time clock on a 3 clock MPi dashboard without risking damage to the walnut? Car is LHD so sourcing a replacement factory dash is close to impossible if this one gets damaged. I found the time clock, just need to get it installed without risking anything else. Steps or photos would be appreciated.
