No need to apologise, I understand, it probably did seem like a random spammer query to be fair ha!

Welcome Rieley!

As you might have seen earlier today, we had a rash of spammers, so some members are pretty leery.

Hope you find the car.

I'm not a spammer, I just joined a bunch of forums as I'm not sure how else to track down the car. DVLA will only get me so far!! I'm just after advice, and my dad recommend using the forums as that's where he used to get tips when he was working on the minis we all had at the time.

Not necessarily. Just because his member since date matches the date of the post does not mean he's a spammer. Looks genuine to me.

I would love to track her down and hopefully buy her back, she was a gift to my mum when she was brand new and I learnt to drive in her so she holds a special place I our hearts. Any help of advice would be amazing.
Not trying to push you away (welcome!) but what's left for members here are new MINI owners and mostly North American Classic Owners.
*(Yes, some Kiwis and Aussies and UK blokes too, but not mostly.)

If you were trying to track down a UK car in the UK (GB it says in your profile), you'd likely be better off with a UK based forum.

Good luck to you.
